May the Zithers Sing Merrily! is more than an exhibition about a traditional instrument—it’s a celebration of how a museum space can be transformed into a vibrant, inclusive public forum. What makes this project unique is that the entire visitor experience—from the graphic identity and spatial concept to the play zones and educational corner—was handled seamlessly by our team. We ensured that every element communicated the same cohesive visual and conceptual world.

 

The exhibition’s visual identity was inspired by the distinctive features of the zither: the rhythmic vibration of its strings, its simple yet iconic form, and the pulsating energy of the music it creates. Abstract shapes and dynamic lines blend the instrument’s folk traditions with a contemporary approach, emphasizing the timelessness of sound.

 

The space itself functions not only as a site of information but as an inspiring environment—a hybrid of stage and communal zone where visitors can sit, linger, listen to music, or watch live performances. The installations, echoing the motion of vibrating strings, double as functional furniture, drawing visitors into active participation.
