The Goethe Institute celebrates the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage with an exhibition. Even today, topics that touched on gender equality and women's freedom of choice a century ago are preaching. Germany, Austria, and Hungary are also celebrating the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage this year. In 1919, women voted for the first time in Germany on January 5, in Austria on February 16, and on April 7 in Hungary.

 

Starting from the centuries-old theme of women's suffrage, the Goethe Institut Ungarn in Budapest, through books, albums, and magazines, presents crucial, current topics on the social status of women in German, European culture, politics, everyday life and the arts.
